North Avenue Post Takes on 2010 with Strategic New Hire, Innovative Technology and New Business Wins (January 2010)
North Avenue Post kicks off the new year announcing tremendous growth with new editor, Rob Lederman, in addition to groundbreaking technology to support the company’s expanding client roster.
Rob joins NAP with more than 15 years of combined post production experience, adding unique consulting, editing and graphic design capabilities to the company’s in-house creative teams. Rob first got his professional start at Optimus, a well-known facility in Chicago. Since then, Rob has applied his creative, quick-thinking talent to two major post production companies in Atlanta, spearheading both local and national projects for companies such as TNT, Ford, Coca Cola, Toyota, Weather Channel, UPS, Home Depot and many more.
As part of NAP’s dedicated efforts to provide the most seamless process and cutting-edge final product, the company has launched a new editing suite, upgraded with one the Southeast’s first Smoke on the Mac by Autodesk. Smoke software is an extensive, all-in-one composition tool with enhanced capabilities including creative editing, simplified conforming, color correction, paint/retouch, 2D/3D text, and state of the arts visual effects. Arguably one of hte world’s most robust finishing applications, NAP plans to harness the power of Smoke to unleash and deliver quicker, higher quality results.
On the new business front, NAP was awarded several new projects and is tasked with developing unique graphical treatment, seamless editing, and customer music for a number of accounts including TBS’ “My Manny,” the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, as well as the United States Marine Corps.
