North Avenue Post Takes on 2010 with Strategic New Hire, Innovative Technology and New Business Wins (January 2010)

North Avenue Post kicks off the new year announcing tremendous growth with new editor, Rob Lederman, in addition to groundbreaking technology to support the company’s expanding client roster.

Rob joins NAP with more than 15 years of combined post production experience, adding unique consulting, editing and graphic design capabilities to the company’s in-house creative teams. Rob first got his professional start at Optimus, a well-known facility in Chicago. Since then, Rob has applied his creative, quick-thinking talent to two major post production companies in Atlanta, spearheading both local and national projects for companies such as TNT, Ford, Coca Cola, Toyota, Weather Channel, UPS, Home Depot and many more.

As part of NAP’s dedicated efforts to provide the most seamless process and cutting-edge final product, the company has launched a new editing suite, upgraded with one the Southeast’s first Smoke on the Mac by Autodesk. Smoke software is an extensive, all-in-one composition tool with enhanced capabilities including creative editing, simplified conforming, color correction, paint/retouch, 2D/3D text, and state of the arts visual effects.  Arguably one of hte world’s most robust finishing applications, NAP plans to harness the power of Smoke to unleash and deliver quicker, higher quality results.

On the new business front, NAP was awarded several new projects and is tasked with developing unique graphical treatment, seamless editing, and customer music for a number of accounts including TBS’ “My Manny,” the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks, as well as the United States Marine Corps.

TNT Looks to North Avenue Post to Complete Promos for New Series (November 2009)

As Turner Broadcasting adds another new series to their dramatic TNT lineup, they needed just the right promotional piece to grab and capture audience interest.  North Avenue Post was up for the challenge. The great editorial work in conjunction with this powerful soundtrack, definitely gave Men of a Certain Age the attention it deserves.

NAP Shows Our Home Team Support and Edits Video Series for Atlanta Hawks (November 2009)

North Avenue Post was recently called upon to complete a series of video clips to promote our home basketball team the Atlanta Hawks. Incorporating branded graphics with energetic original music by composer/sound designer Kenneth Lovell, NAP successfully showcases the incredible intensity of this season’s team. Go Hawks!

Jon Hayes and Kenneth Lovell Get Their “Head in the Game” (October 2009)

Once again, Disney turned to editor Jonathan Hayes and sound designer Kenneth Lovell to complete their Get Your Head in the Game series–A total of five documentary-style pieces featuring kids all over the country showcasing their various talents and skills.

Cartoon Network Selects North Avenue Post. Get Ready to Battle! (October 2009)

To promote the newest DVD release for the cartoon series Bakugan, Cartoon Network looked no further than North Avenue Post. Not only did NAP execute the edit and sound design, but editors Kyle Tekiela and Sean Brown both concepted and scripted this “epic battle” spot.
